Enjoy the story of a biracial couple who, when faced with complications during pregnancy, make use of innovative prenatal healthcare that shares their living room for 7 months and document the experience to one day answer the burning question of their child.
“Artificial Womb Baby,” co-written by Titania Galliher and Mariana Vily in 2022, explores a potential near future that we would like to see. A future where, when faced with already-challenging decisions about our lives and bodies and the lives our bodies can carry, a family has more options to aid in that process.

THE TEAM
TITANIA GALLIHER — director, co-writer, producer
A biracial actor, writer, and filmmaker raised in Vermont, Germany, and the Bahamas. A resident of New York City since 2014. In 2016, she shot, co-wrote, and co-produced the 5iveSenses short film series with colleague Melissa Mowry, telling intimate stories in and around New York City under the production house, Secret6Train (available on Youtube). Most recently seen starring in the feature film Northern Shade. A.W. Baby is her directorial debut. She holds an MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School and a BA from Amherst College.
MARIANA VILY — co-writer, producer
An Argentine writer, actress, and producer. A Stella Adler Studio alumna. Her first short film, 620 Isham, screened at the inaugural Inwood Film Festival. She wrote, produced, and acted in her following short film, Gaining & Losing, which focuses on the emotional and interpersonal cost of eating disorder recovery (available on Sofy.tv). Most recently, she was commissioned to write the one-act play, La ciudad de los arroyos invisibles, by Same Boat Theater Collective for the 2021 Latin American Terremoto Festival.
AUSTIN LEWIS — 1st AD, producer
The founder of Remember Tommy Productions, with writing, directing, and producing credits including "Friendship According to Humphrey,“ "After School Special," "Oh You!" and feature film "People Don't Die in the Comics Anymore.” Austin holds a BA in Drama, Art and Art History from Washington College, a Career Studies Certificate in Filmmaking from John Tyler Community College, and soon to complete MFA in Filmmaking from Maryland Institute College of Art.
